字幕機（Character generator），簡稱CG

字幕機（Character generator），簡稱CG，是一種用來將文字輸入於影片中的設備或軟體，最初是為了讓聾人也可以看電影而設計出來的，而後來漸漸成了電影中各種方言的最好解釋。現今的字幕機大多是以電腦使用，除可以打字幕之外，也可以打表格等。

此外，部分電視公司常將外購電視劇或動畫的片尾曲其剪片，或是不播出，情形較多。

此外，部分電視公司在播放外購電視劇或動畫時會將其剪片，或是不播出，也有轉為其他歌曲的。

【海底總動員】跟之前皮克斯幾部作品相比，場景之豐富、角色之眾多都是動畫家的一大挑戰，尤其本片背景發生在海洋世界，如何表現海底場景可說是本片最大的難處，海洋場景跟陸地場景的不同，在於要表現出海中漂浮不定的洋流、隨之擺動的生物、隔著水洩下來的光線、不斷上升的氣泡…等等。皮克斯再度展現他們３Ｄ動畫龍頭長才，一一克服了本片許多難處，呈現出讓人嘆為觀止的水中世界。
